What We Do
With "Seeds Unlimited" we are developing an iTunes type of Internet presence that contains only original, Christianity-based, works. Focus will be on solid biblical truths married with artists that are not “owned” by the company or restricted by a publisher’s contract.
We use our multi-track recording and production studio to produce and find songs with our international missions contacts. We then translate these songs into multiple languages to make them accessible to other cultures. The music doesn’t change but the lyrics do. This will also work with “concept” videos that are about the song, not about the singer.
Facilities
Our studio includes some of the latest digital sound recording and production hardware and software, from a Kawai Baby grand piano and Gretsch recording drums to software synthesis and a wide array of microphones. Our production abilities are limited only by our imaginations . . .

The History Of Mission Recording
The original vision for putting a recording studio in a mission organization came in February 2001 from Dr. David Summey, who was at that time the CEO of Helps International. At that time I acted upon his suggestion and joined Helps International Ministries to do audio production with a vision for missions. I also hold part-time jobs with Grace Community Church and Flat Rock Playhouse to supplement my support and to encourage these artistic communities.
In early 2004 after almost 3 years of I working with Helps International Ministries I was ready to give up. This was just what God had in mind. I had a $15,000 matching grant, (no money in hand), no building funds, and a diminishing support base.
In April 2004 I was recording a song demo with a local singer whose husband was a local builder. We accomplished the demo and had a sweet time of worship. Two months later in June 2004, I was preparing for a songwriter demo with a local artist/friend Tag Garmon that I had worked with previously on his first full album project.
Tag asked if he could invite a friend to the demo session who had a passion for music and the gospel. This person was another local builder who immediately decided to kick start the studio building process by giving Mission Recording an unrestricted building materials account with a local building materials supplier . . . but there were things that needed to be accomplished before we could start building.
The first real push came about August 2004 when two $5,000 checks came in the same week from these two builders (each with no knowledge of the other and both a complete surprise to me). Immediately $20,000 was released to start the custom electrical work and the specialized HVAC, and the materials were now also available to begin construction which continued until December 2005 with mostly volunteer labor.
About one year after the building process began in earnest, I was on my way to Grace Community Church when I received a call from our arts director Craig Lotz about a song to download for a special at Grace. I said I’d grab it and we hung up. Then 15 minutes later I had an amazing vision of what “Mission Recording” was to be, an outline of how it would operate, and the real beginning of what is being offered here on these pages as Mission Recording and Seeds Unlimited.
As of January 2006, construction was completed on our multi-track recording and production facility in the home office of Helps International Ministries. We have since completed several custom album projects and about 6 song translations from Polish to English. We are actively trying to raise funds to move into full-time catalog production for Seeds Unlimited.
